Ordernumbers for WooCommerce

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Does Advanced Ordernumbers premium work with multi site? I would like my invoice numbers to be sequential across all of my sites.
Also is there a way to filter my invoice TEMPLATE based on variables? I have it set up for US and EU prefixes in the invoice number and would like US purchase invoices to display my US company address on the invoice and EU purchase invoices to display my European company address on those invoices.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Sonya,
To be honest, we have not attempted to make the plugin work with multisite. AFAIK, there are several woocommerce multisite solutions available, none of them is really perfect. Which multi-site approach are you using?

Since you are using our plugin for the invoice numbers, I suppose you are using the "WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips" extension. To make the vendor address depend on the customer's address, I suppose the easiest way is to set up a custom template for your invoices (in the PDF invoices menu item, see the second tab "Template" and in particular the comment at the "Choose a template" setting). There, in the invoice.php file, you can simply replace the $wpo_wcpdf->shop_address() call around line 15 with some php magic that determines whether the US or EU address should be shown (e.g. checking the prefix of $wpo_wcpdf->invoice_number(), or some other check). Since you are using this only on your own site and with a custom invoice template, you can simply hardcode the two addresses into the template rather than adding a custom setting to the plugin.

Best regards,
Reinhold
