Ordernumbers for WooCommerce

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Double numbering orders with orders = 0$ 08 Mar 2017 17:40 #1

Hi,

My client would have 2 different counters for his accountability.

- One for the regular orders > 0$ (it could be an event, a bottle of wine or a gift card)
- One for the orders pay WITH the code of a gift card so with a 0$ price

Is there a way to do that ?

When i read the documentation i understand that multiple counters are based on sku, slug or tags but here a same product can be buy with a standard payment or a gift card.

Thank you for your return

Double numbering orders with orders = 0$ 12 Mar 2017 19:03 #2

Dear Marcantoine,
In our plugin, multiple counters are not explicitly based on any particular variable, but they work more abstract. In particular, we don't have any code to handle SKUs or slug special. If your only condition for a different numbering scheme is total order amount == 0, then you can indeed easily use a different numbering format for this case. See e.g. our documentation for a case of this:
open-tools.net/documentation/advanced-or...tml#custom_variables

In particular, the fifth row in these variable definitions is exactly what you need: If the total order amount equals 0, then the order number format is changed to FREE-2017-0100. Please note that this does NOT work with a global counter, so you'll have to disable the global counter if you have it enabled in the first place.

Best regards,
Reinhold
