IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Shipping based on UPS shipping method 13 Dec 2013 21:55 #1

Hello, my customer is using the UPS shipping method with about 7 different shipping options (Ground, 2 day, 3 day, etc). We are using the shipping rules plugin to give free shipping if the order is over $100. Is there any way we can also check what shipping option was chosen? He only wants to give free shipping if the order is over $100 AND it is by UPS Ground. I can do some coding so if that is necessary I am willing. As you can imagine this is a huge issue when the user wants expedited shipping costing more than his order!

Unfortunately, VirtueMart's shipping system does not allow your user to select multiple shippings (and thus shipping plugin authors are not enabled to make their shipping method dependent on the selection of another method).

Basically, if the user selects "UPS ground", no other shipping plugin has an effect. You 100$ free shipping limit somehow needs to be implemented directly in the UPS shipping plugin.

Sorry, Reinhold
