IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hello all and thanks for providing this plugin.
I have a hair products shop (www.colorgallery.gr) and i need to configure the free rules plugin to set a discount percentage eg 25% when total price exceed eg 100 euros, not just number of products.

For example i want to offer a discount when the customer make orders of more than 100 euros

Discount when total price over 100€? 18 Dec 2016 00:57 #2

Dear Jordantsap,
Our plugin is not meant to provide shipping costs, not discounts on the whole cart. In particular, the shipping costs are a different position on the invoice than discounts. I you really need a discount on the whole cart, it's better to look for a dedicated discount plugin. There are some discount plugins for VM available, but I know none of them, so I can't really recommend any.

Having said that, if you really want to implement discounts as negative shipping costs, the corresponding rule would be:
Amount>100; Shipping=-0.25*Amount
However, you should be aware that there are some cases, where VM does not display negative shipping costs. So you'll have to test this thoroughly yourself. Also note that when you implement discounts as negative shipping costs, you will no longer be able to add real shipping costs, because VM only has one shipping cost.

Best regards,
Reinhold
