IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hello,

apologized for my bad english.
I need the following calculation:
Name = DHL; Shipping = 6 * Products + 2 * Articles

As a result, I receive shipping costs in the amount of 8 €, each additional product costs 2 € shipping more.
Now I need additionally the calculation of 19% Tax.
Unfortunately, I do not get the result I need and therefore I hope to help.

Shipping plus Tax 12 Mar 2017 19:31 #2

Dear Steppo,
In WooCommerce, taxes for shipping costs are handled just like taxes on the product prices. In particular, in the WooCommerce tax settings you can choose whether all prices you enter (product prices and shipping costs) are inclusive or exclusive of tax. If you enter product prices including taxes, then shippign costs also have to be entered including tax.
You can also select whether shipping should always get one particular tax rate, or follow the tax rates of the products in the cart.

For the tax settings, see WooCommerce -> Settings -> General (to enable taxes at all) and WooCommerce -> Settings-> Tax (for the particular tax settings, including whether prices are inclusive or exclusive of tax) and how shipping should be taxed.

Best regards,
Reinhold
