Hello,

I use the shipping by rules plugin. So far so good - working well!

But I have 1 problem:
When select a certain shipment method defined by rules, I can still select "Pay in the shop".
Thats not good! Customers can order and get delivered products by no payment at all.

Maybe this is not possible within this plugin, because its just handling the shipment and not the payment methods?

Is there any solution to fix this? Maybe another way? I search the forums well, but found no answers yet!

Can you help me out? I guess this is an issue for a lot of shops!

I completely understand your problem. However, unfortunately, VirtueMart itself does not provide any way to make the offered payment methods depend on the choice of the shipping method (or the other way round). All shipping and payment plugins are just called by VirtueMart, but VirtueMart itself is hardcoded to always show all possible methods, independent of the particular choice of the shipping :(

I solved this problem by buying an one page checkout module.

This Ajax driven cart has rules to include or exclude payment methodes based on shipping selection.

So my problem is solved!

I bought the One page checkout from rupostel.com

Very good component, very customisable. You can for instance disable some payment options by rules for certain shipping methods.

It's Ajax driven, so updates on the fly.

Problem solved.
