IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hi!

I'm really interrested into buying your plugin. It seems to be very great and versatile. But I need something specific and I'm not sure the plugin can do it. Here is what I need :

I need a specific shipping price depending on the number of products of a specifique categories in the cart.
For example :

Let's say category A
1 to 5 products of the category A in the cart = 5$ shipping cost
6 to 10 products of the category A in the cart = 8$ shipping cost
11 to 15 = 12$
and so on...

Keeping in mind that other products can be in the cart in the same time, but those doesn't affect the shipping price of the product in the category A.

Is that possible to do this with the "advanced" version of your plugin?

Unfortunately, this shipping cost structure is currently not possible with my plugin. There is currently no way to access the number of products (do you rather mean articles/pieces?) in a particular category. You can currently only check whether a certain category is in the cart at all, but not how many products / pieces of that category are ordered.

Also, it seems you want to sum the shipping cost of all of the categories (i.e. 5$ for all products of category A + 8$ for the products of category B + ....). This is currently also not (easily) possible.
