CB Usergroups Field Plugin With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.
It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hiya,
Our website uses multiple advance shipping rule instances and therefore we are finding it hard to check to see if a shipping rule or two has been matched, and if not to show a NoShipping message. I could't find any variable / function in the documentation that replies with the number of rules matched and therefore wondered if I had missed something or someone has some advice? Kind regards, Mark |

Dear Mark,
In VirtueMart, each shipping method is completely separate from each other, so from one shipping method, you cannot determine whether any other method has already provided a shipping rate. The best you can do is to move all rules into one shipping method. Append the NoShipping rule with your desired message as the very last ruleset, which will onlly be considered if none of the rules / rulesets above returned any shipping rate. However, it is not possible in VM by design to check inside a shipping method whether another shipping method provided a price. Sorry and best regards, Reinhold |
