Advanced Ordernumbers for VirtueMart

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

product custom fields in ordernumber 24 Sep 2018 16:53 #1

Hi!
I try to find a way to put the content of a product custom field into the order/invoice-number. It basically contains the zip code of the seller.(not vendor - every product has his own seller). Since the shop is limited to austria the amount of postal codes is limited as well, so I thought I could use the manufacturer variable and make a self defined variable out of the ID od the manufacturer, but the Problem is, that I cannot address this variable, it simply doesn't change anything.

Virtuemart 3.2.14
Joomla 3.8.11

Any help would be highly appreciated
Thanky you very much

edit: In the meanwhile I found some errors in the ordernumber.php: some variables are called $menufacturers but should be called $manufacturers, but still doesn't solve my problem. Unfortunately I am not a developer, so I canot fix this by my own, but as far as I see, I guess the problem is located somewhere between lin 132 and 180. I tried around to set the variable manually but as soon as I put it into an foreach loop it returns null (don't know if that is the correct term for that)
